Com obras previstas para comeA\ufffdar em janeiro de 2015, ele deve estar pronto atA\ufffd 2018. Trata-se do primeiro t\u00fanel desse tipo no Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Em funA\ufffdA?o do intenso movimento de barcos na regiA?o, nA?o valia a pena construir uma ponte elevadiA\ufffda&#8221;, afirmou em entrevista a EXAME.com Estanislau Marcka, coordenador do projeto.<\/p>\n<p>Batizado de Submerso, o t\u00fanel sob o canal do porto de Santos terA? 1,7 quilA?metro de extensA?o e 21 metros de profundidade. Quando estiver pronta, a obra de 2,8 bilhA\ufffdes de reais vai atender cerca de 40 mil pessoas por dia. O dinheiro vem do BNDES e do Tesouro do Estado de SA?o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>ConstruA\ufffdA?o<\/p>\n<p>Para construir o Submerso, ser\u00e1 usada uma tecnologia parecida com a do Transbay Tube de SA?o Francisco (Estados Unidos) e outros tA?neis do tipo. &#8220;HA? 150 tA?neis como esse ao redor do mundo&#8221;, afirmou Marcka, coordenador.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Cada elemento comporta 2 pistas com 3 faixas de rolamento e uma galeria central de 5 metros para circulaA\ufffdA?o de pedestres e ciclistas&#8221;, explicou Marcka.O Submerso ser\u00e1 construA\ufffddo fora d&#8217;A?gua e em partes. Chamadas de elementos pelos engenheiros, essas partes ser\u00e1o feitas de concreto armado terA?o 10 metros de altura, 37 metros de largura e 145 metros de comprimento. A\ufffdAo todo, ser\u00e1o seis elementos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O cronograma do projeto prevA? a construA\ufffdA?o de trA?s elementos de cada vez. Depois de prontos e vedados, eles ser\u00e1o levados para o canal por rebocadores. Com lastros provisA?rios na parte interna, os elementos afundarA?o na A?gua.<\/p>\n<p>Por meio de um posicionamento preciso, encaixes e aplicaA\ufffdA?o de concreto, as partes do t\u00fanel ser\u00e1o unidas debaixo d&#8217;A?gua. Na parte externa do Submerso, uma cobertura com pedras servirA? para evitar o choque de navios na estrutura.<\/p>\n<p>No fim, o vedamento dos elementos ser\u00e1 desfeito e o t\u00fanel estarA? pronto.<\/p>\n<p>100 anos<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Esse t\u00fanel A\ufffd pensado para ficar inteirA?o durante uns 100 anos&#8221;, afirmou Marcka.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo ele, A\ufffd possA\ufffdvel que outros tA?neis como o Submerso sejam construA\ufffddos no canal do porto de Santos (para movimentaA\ufffdA?o de carga) e mesmo em outras partes do Brasil &#8211; como a BaA\ufffda de Guanabara, no Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Esse vai ser o primeiro de uma sA\ufffdrie.
